![]() Fantastic younger as well as getting rid of a couple characters facial hair, but overall his work on Chavez, Lanius, Pretty Sarah, animated tears, the addicts in South Vegas, etc far outweigh my minor gripes with the mod. ![]() There are also some nitpicky design choices that I don't like, such as his decision to make Mr. Also, he race-flops some of the characters, so NPCs with a black voice actor but a white character model will now be black, and vice-versa. It doesn't add sex scenes or whatever, nothing gratuitous, but some of the slaves in the Legion officers tents at The Fort are naked because, you know, sex slaves. If that was all the mod did I would recommend it to everyone ever, however it does some controversial things. If an NPC says that they were trying to run from an attack away, but got hit in the leg and trapped in a cave, then that character will have a bruised and bloody face, and their character model won't just have a red spot on their pants, they will have a big gash and a hastily prepared bandage. Not only does it make the facial models much more varied and realistic, but it was made to enhance the lore. New Vegas Resigned: Don't let the word "Redesigned" scare you off, this is essentially Fallout Character Overhaul done right. ![]() I am out of FNV modding scene since the only mods I play with it for 5 years now are TTW, DarnUI and MCM so I am sorry I can't suggest more. The author went around and " un-boarded" some houses and made interiors for them, increases the places you can explore and usually it is quite lore friendly the same author also made a addon that improves the vanilla player's houses (also made by one of my friends so I am obliged to suggest it ): I can't be sure if this one fits with your criteria or not, but I will suggest it and you can take a look, for me it is one of the best mods for FNV in terms of exploration. The immersive in the title is actually a joke about how all mods seem to be called immersive something these days (it was made by a couple of my friends so I wouldn't be much of a friend if I didn't suggested it ): Spacemunkey already suggested a mod for hacking and lockpicking but I am going to suggest another for that, it is more like the classic Fallout games and removes the minigames and allows the character to try and open the locks or hack depending on their skills. įixes couches that you previously could not sit on, like the one in your Novac room. Again, this does not alter the game atmosphere yet slightly improves it. Makes glass semi-transparent so you can through it, while maintaining its dirty look. It also feels natural, like it was a feature meant to be there. Yes, you can theoritically do it by console commands so there's so real need for it but this is much more fun for me. This adds two mirrors where you can change your hair, in the hotel room in novac and in the Lucky 38 suite. ![]() So overall, this little modification makes me feel more like i'm in the classic fallout universe, as it's presented in Fallout New Vegas. This mod's brahmin variants manage to capture the aesthetic of the mojave wasteland, an aesthetic which is in the base game is sometimes not clear enough, precisely because the mojave wasteland is built partly using designs made for the capital wasteland ( i'm guessing due to lack of time ). The thing is that many of the stuff taken from fallout 3 feel out of place in New Vegas, and the brahmin are a good example of that. I was sceptical about this prior to trying it out but it's really nice, the brahmin are very well designed and it feels sort of natural having them around. This adds a new type of brahmin that fits the atmosphere of the territories around New Vegas.
